Privacy Policy
We collect absolutely nothing. Your data stays yours.
Our Privacy Philosophy
ACE Checklist Editor was built with a simple principle: Your checklists and flight data are yours alone. We believe privacy is a fundamental right, especially for pilots who handle sensitive operational data.
Unlike most apps, we have made the deliberate choice to collect absolutely no user data. No analytics. No tracking. No telemetry. No exceptions.
What We DON'T Collect
No Analytics
Zero third-party analytics. No Google Analytics, Firebase, or any tracking services.
No User Tracking
We don't track what features you use, how often you use the app, or your behavior patterns.
No Personal Data
We don't collect names, emails, phone numbers, or any identifying information.
No Location Data
We never access GPS or location services. Your flight locations remain private.
No Device Info
We don't collect device IDs, IP addresses, or hardware information.
No Crash Analytics
We don't use crash reporting services that send data to external servers.
What Stays On Your Device
All your checklists, aircraft data, and preferences remain exclusively on your device. They're yours, and only yours.
How Your Data Stays Private
Since we don't collect any data, there's nothing to use, share, or worry about. Your app works entirely offline with:
- All processing happens locally on your device
- Checklists are created and stored on your device only
- Export functions work directly from your device storage
- No network requests to our servers (we don't have data servers)
- The app functions perfectly with airplane mode enabled
Apple's iOS Ecosystem
Standard iOS Features
We only use standard iOS capabilities without special entitlements. No backdoors, no special permissions.
Optional iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud sync, data syncs through YOUR personal iCloud account. Apple handles the encryption, we never see it.
iOS Crash Reports
If iOS crashes, Apple may collect standard crash logs. You control this in iOS Settings > Privacy > Analytics.
About Apple's Privacy
When using iCloud sync, your data is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to your iCloud data - it's encrypted and tied to your Apple ID.
Data Sharing
We can't share what we don't have.
Since we collect zero data, there's nothing to share, sell, or leak. Not with advertisers, not with data brokers, not with anyone.
No Data = No Problems
- No data breaches to worry about
- No selling to third parties
- No government data requests
- No advertising profiles
- No data mining
- Just pure functionality
Your Rights
Complete Ownership
All data stays on your device. You own it, control it, and can delete it anytime.
Export Anytime
Export your checklists to any format - ACE, PDF, text. Your data is never locked in.
Delete Anytime
Delete the app and all data is gone. No accounts, no cloud backups, no traces.
No Accounts Required
No sign-ups, no logins, no accounts. Just download and use.
Children's Privacy
Our app is designed for pilots and aviation professionals. Since we don't collect any data from anyone, children's privacy is inherently protected. The app can be safely used by student pilots of any age.
International Usage
Use the app anywhere in the world. Since all data stays on your device, there are no international data transfers to worry about. Your checklists never leave your device unless you explicitly export them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice through the app.
Why We Built It This Way
As pilots ourselves, we understand that aviation data is sensitive. Flight patterns, frequently visited airports, aircraft details - this information could reveal a lot about you. That's why we architected the app from day one to work entirely offline.
We sleep better knowing we can't be hacked for data we don't have.
